​ the튠은 전통타악기와 해금, 피아노, 보컬, 퍼커션의 구성으로 한국 전통음악을 재해석하여 실험적인 창작음악을 선보인다. 전통적인 것, 원시적인 것, 오래된 것을 들춰내 한국적 정서와 그들의 입김을 불어넣어 이미지가 보이고 이야기가 들리는 음악을 만들어낸다. 국악, 재즈, 컨템포러리, 집시음악을 접목하여 동양의 오묘한 아우라가 돋보이는 음악을 창작한다. the튠은 국악 안에 머물고 국악 밖을 노니는 묘한 줄타기 중이다.

​ The tune is unveiled experimental music creation by a reinterpretation of South Korean traditional music with traditional percussion and haegeum, piano, voice, various percussion. They look for traditional, primitive, old things and then blown korean sentiment and their breath into it. They produce musics that shows images and tells stories. Their music stands out a mysteries aura of the orient through combining traditional music, jazz, contemporary, gypsy music. The Tune is being tightrope that leave the roots in traditional music but is not getting stuck in it.
